Although we cannot see them visibly with our eyes, we’re going to explore how they are silently disrupting us at the cellular level and focus on practical ways we can mitigate their negative impacts.

This excess of free radicals triggered by low-frequency microwave exposure from wireless technologies has been linked to many health concerns that differ from person to person, depending on their level of resilience during the exposure.

There are many devices on the market that test various electromagnetic frequencies, some worth the investment and others not. Two devices I like are—
- Gaussmeter: tests for magnetic frequencies.
- Radio Frequency meter: These meters measure radio frequencies, which are probably the most damaging frequencies.

- Empty Your Bucket: healing and health is a holistic process, and one of the most powerful things you can do to increase your ability to deal with EMFs is to empty your stress bucket in other areas of your life. Many EMFs are unavoidable while living in a city (cellphones, wifi, etc.- it’s everywhere). You can reduce stress in all the other parts of your life that you can control. Manage your exposure to physical, chemical, and emotional stress, and you will increase your resilience to EMFs.
- Distance yourself: Second to reducing your all-cause stress would be physically distancing yourself from EMFs. Using meters can help you see what EMF hot spots in your home or office might need to be addressed. You may learn that items like your TV or washing/ drying machines are also blasting these frequencies. From there, you can make conscious decisions on whether to get rid of the items or at least ensure you’re far away from them when they run. Instead of holding your cell phone, use the speakerphone. Distancing yourself 3 feet from your cell phone mitigates about 90% of the EMF radiation.
- Shut it off: Turn off your wifi at night, keep your phone on airplane mode, and keep lights and appliances off as much as possible.
- Get Grounded: Being grounded dispels the electrical charge into the earth. This is why landlines (with a cord) are better than wireless home phones and using ethernet internet (with a cord) is better than having Wi-Fi. You can also invest in grounding mats; of course, the ultimate grounding is done out in nature (with your bare feet on the earth).
- Block them: There are a few ways to block EMFs, some better than others. Greenwave cleans up the energy by plugging the device into electrical sockets. They’re about $25, and you can find them at Walmart. They reduce dirty electricity, which is especially important in your bedroom and office (where you spend the most time). Anti-EMF blankets are great to sleep under or to put in between you and your iPad. Cell phone cases are a bit more questionable because cases like Defender Shield do block EMFs, but only by deflecting them. For your phone to work (to make or receive calls, text messages, or use data) it has to emit EMFs, so holding your phone to your ear or near your body is never a good idea. Cases like Blocksockdo completely block them, but you might as well to use Airplane mode whenever you don’t need to use your phone’s wireless capabilities.
We Just Don’t Know Enough
Like with vaccines and GMOs, the problem with EMFs and ill health effects are that we live in one of the largest human experiments. Science is clearly demonstrating the harm that these frequencies have on living things, but like all these industries, there is a lot of fightback from corporations with financial interests that insist they aren’t harmful. We’re supposedly the most technologically advanced country in the world, yet we are one of the sickest countries. We have the best healthcare system, yet we’re one of the sickest countries in the world. There’s no other choice but to take our health into our own hands and do everything we can to protect ourselves and our families.
