Ingredients

  • Filtered water – 4 cups
  • Romaine lettuce – 2 cups
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh ginger (peeled and chopped) – 1 tablespoon
  • Raw cucumber (peeled and closed) – 1 cup
  • Kiwi fruit (peeled and chopped) – 1 fruit
  • Avocado (pitted, scooped) – 1 fruit
  • Optional: Stevita stevia (or any other sugar substitute) – 1 teaspoon
  • Optional: spirulina – 15-30 tablets (we recommend EnergyBits®)
  • Optional: D-ribose – 1 teaspoon
  • Optional: celery (chopped) – 1 cup

Directions

  1. Put about 1 cup of ice in a blender, then top it with all other ingredients.

2. Liver Detox Booster

Easy to make and extremely effective, this simple detox drink works best during a liver cleanse. Activated charcoal is a great natural way to pull out most types of toxins from out of the body, and the ascorbic acid in lemon juice acts as a powerful antioxidant to speed up your detox. Last but not least, collagen powder helps to promote liver regeneration.

Ingredients

  • Purified water or chilled dandelion tea – 3 cups
  • Collagen powder (we recommend the one from Great Lakes) – 2 tablespoons
  • Sea salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Activated charcoal (our choice is Bind) – 2 capsules
  • Lemon juice – juice from 1 lemon
  • Optional: Stevita stevia (or any other sugar substitute) – ¼ teaspoon

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender except collagen powder.
  2. Blend well at high speed.
  3. Once everything is blended well, add the collagen powder and blend on low speed.
  4. Serve over ice, and enjoy!

3. Green Cleansing Smoothie

Full of natural antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, vitamins, and minerals, this universal green cleanser is a great detox drink for any occasion. As a pleasant bonus, collagen powder supports regeneration where it’s most needed—meaning it’s not just a detox drink but a great recovery smoothie in general!

Ingredients

  • Parsley – 1 bunch
  • Cilantro – 1 bunch
  • Cucumber – 1 cucumber
  • Celery – 2-3 stalks
  • Lemon juice – juice from 1 lemon
  • Ginger root (peeled and chopped) – about 2 inches
  • Collagen powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Filtered water – ½ cup

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients besides the collagen in a blender.
  2. Blend well at high speed.
  3. Once the smoothie is well-blended, add collagen and blend again at low speed.

As a detox smoothie base, kale is definitely not for everyone. Many people are intimidated by its strong flavor, but dealing with it is definitely worth the cleansing benefits this green provides. The right ingredients can help smooth out kale’s boldness, and almond milk is one of the best options!

Ingredients

  • Almond milk (unsweetened) – ⅔ cup
  • Kale – 2 cups
  • Celery (chopped) – 1-2 stalks
  • Green apple (cored and chopped) – 1 fruit
  • Flaxseed (ground) – 1 tablespoon
  • Optional: Honey – 1 tablespoon (or 1 teaspoon of a sugar substitute like Stevita stevia)

Directions

  1. Put one cup of ice in a blender, then top it with all other ingredients.
  2. Blend well at high speed.
  3. Add water if the smoothie feels too thick.
  4. Enjoy!

  • Filtered water – ½ cup
  • Spinach – 1 cup
  • Cilantro – 1 handful
  • Pineapple (peeled and chopped) – ½ cup

  2. Blend well at high speed.
