- 3-4 lbs. grass-fed beef bones
- 3-4 Tbsp. raw, organic apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 Tbsp. sea salt
- Filtered water
- Optional add-ins: grass-fed collagen, grass-fed gelatin, turmeric, bay leaves, garlic, dried herbs or fresh vegetables.
- Place bones, sea salt and apple cider vinegar into a large slow cooker.
- Cover ingredients with filtered water, leaving about 2 inches of space between the water and lid.
- Turn slow cooker on low and allow to cook for at least 24 hours.
- Enjoy plain for fasting purposes, or use as a base for soups.
