I finally decided to begin grain-free living a couple of weeks ago. Prior to this, I had been following the intermediate plan of the Cellular Healing Diet, and eating moderate amounts of bread. My wife and I decided to take the plunge after reading “Wheat Belly” and understanding the importance of making the changes. I have lost 5 pounds in two weeks, all from my belly. I went from 157 to 152 by changing nothing else except ditching grains. I have increased energy and stamina and greater mental clarity. My wife has experienced similar benefits, and she’s hypothyroid. We will begin detoxification soon and can’t wait to see what happens next.
